July 4th is the great American group trip — and the hardest week of the year to house a big one. Excalibur takes the whole crowd: pickleball and putt-putt through the long summer evenings, the pool for the heat of the day, and the firepit for after-dark. Head down the mountain for the real fireworks show — Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge puts on one of the best in the region, and Dollywood lights up the sky on Friday nights all summer long.

Personal fireworks are NOT allowed at the property or anywhere in the subdivision. For July 4th fireworks, head to Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge or catch Dollywood's Friday-night summer fireworks show — both are about 15 minutes away.
